Future Primary Care Services - Feedback Required Posted or Updated on 14 Sep 2022

Last year we asked you to tell us your lived experience of primary care (GP practice) services, particularly looking at the impact of the pandemic.

We are now looking at future healthcare needs for people specifically outside of the usually opening hours of your GP practice.

We are asking for your feedback to enable us to plan GP primary care services based on the needs of local people particularly between the hours of 6.30pm and 8pm Mondays to Fridays and between 9am and 5pm on Saturdays.

This would help your practice and the NHS in Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland to prioritise the way we organise and pay for services and help guide Primary Care Network (groups of GPs working together to improve health services) to cope the needs of local people.  It will also help us to improve care for the higher numbers of sicker people and the general rise in demand for GP appointments and treatment.

The survey closes on mid-night on 24th June 2022.

You can also pick up a hard copy of the survey from your local GP practice or request a copy by emailing: llrccgs.beinvolved@nhs.net
