You may have heard in the news that GPs are now allowed to prescribe Mounjaro to a select group of patients for weight loss.  Our local NHS Commissioning board (ICB) has not yet approved a pathway for this service to be offered to patients across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland.  Further updates are expected in August 2025.  Please avoid contacting the surgery to enquire about this until a further update has been issued.
